*Inner peace is a state where the mind, heart and body are in balance.
*Inner peace needs to be actively worked on. Mindful activities can be used to practice clearing the mind of negative thoughts. Starting in small increments, i.e 15-30-45 minutes a day, focus on any negative thought that comes into the mind and replace it with a positive thought.
*Connecting with others is critical for inner peace. People need people. There are even new online groups that have developed (strictly focused on people who want to meditate and develop inner peace; i.e Global Care Room) for people who find it tough to connect with other people in person. Whether electronic or face to face, establishing and developing personal connections helps develop increased feelings of satisfaction in general.
*An inner balance app is now available. It helps to intentionally shift heart rhythms to increase peace. A simple sensor plugs into a smart phone and connects to the ear lobe. It helps develop a breathing sequence that aligns breathing and heart rhythms.
OTHER WAYS TO INCREASE PEACE
1. Do one thing at a time.
2. Do it slowly and deliberately.
3. Do it completely.
4. Do less.
5. Put space between things.
6. Develop rituals.
7. Devote time to sitting.
8. Think only about what is necessary.
9. Live simply.
